At the International Journal of Cloud Computing and Cyber Security (IJCCCS), the peer review process forms the foundation of our commitment to publishing high-quality, original, and impactful research. Reviewers play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of the journal by providing constructive, fair, and timely assessments of submitted manuscripts. The following guidelines are designed to support reviewers in carrying out their responsibilities effectively and consistently. Reviewers act as subject-matter experts who critically evaluate the originality, technical quality, clarity, and contribution of a manuscript to the fields of cloud computing and cyber security. Their insights help authors improve their work while guiding the editorial board in making fair publication decisions.
All manuscripts under review are strictly confidential. Reviewers must not share, discuss, or use any part of the content for personal advantage.
Reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest, such as personal, financial, or professional connections with the authors or their institutions, and decline the review if impartiality cannot be guaranteed.
Feedback should be impartial, respectful, and based on academic merit rather than personal beliefs or bias.
Reviewers are expected to assess manuscripts based on the following aspects:
Does the work contribute new knowledge, ideas, or applications in cloud computing and cyber security?
Are the methods, experiments, or models scientifically sound and accurately applied?
Is the manuscript well-structured, coherent, and written in clear academic language?
Does the paper adequately reference existing research and position itself in the current body of knowledge?
Does the study advance the field in terms of theory, practice, or both?
Are research ethics followed, especially regarding data, simulations, or experiments involving human/organizational subjects?
Timely feedback is crucial for efficient publication. Reviewers are generally expected to complete their review within 7–10 days of receiving the manuscript. If additional time is required, reviewers should promptly inform the editorial team.
IJCCCS acknowledges the invaluable contribution of reviewers by providing formal recognition, certificates, and opportunities to join the editorial board based on consistent performance and expertise.
