At the International Journal of Cloud Computing and Cyber Security (IJCCCS), we uphold the highest standards of academic integrity and originality in all research works submitted for publication. As a reputed platform dedicated to advancing knowledge in cloud computing, cyber security, and related disciplines, we recognize plagiarism as a serious ethical violation. Our plagiarism policy has been carefully designed to protect the rights of authors, safeguard the authenticity of scientific contributions, and maintain the credibility of scholarly communication.
Plagiarism refers to the act of presenting someone else’s intellectual work—whether published or unpublished, as one’s own, without proper acknowledgment. This includes: Copying text, figures, tables, algorithms, or data from another source without citation. Close paraphrasing of another work without attribution. Self-plagiarism, where authors reuse significant portions of their previously published work without disclosure. Submitting work that has been simultaneously sent to multiple journals. We strictly prohibit all forms of plagiarism, whether intentional or unintentional.
To ensure originality, all submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous plagiarism screening process using trusted plagiarism detection software. In addition, our editorial and review teams carefully examine content for overlaps, paraphrased ideas, and other forms of duplication. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 15% (excluding references and standard phrases) are generally not considered acceptable for publication.
Submit only original research that has not been published elsewhere. Properly cite all references, data sources, and prior works that informed their research. Disclose any prior versions or overlapping submissions at the time of submission. Obtain permissions for the use of copyrighted materials, such as images or figures. By submitting to IJCCCS, authors affirm that their work complies with ethical publication standards and that they take full responsibility for the authenticity of their content.
If plagiarism is detected at any stage—before, during, or after publication—IJCCCS will take immediate and appropriate action, which may include:
Editors and reviewers are integral to enforcing this policy. They are encouraged to flag suspected plagiarism during the review process. Any concerns will be carefully investigated by the editorial board before making a final decision.
The International Journal of Cloud Computing and Cyber Security (IJCCCS) is committed to upholding the principles of transparency, fairness, and integrity. By adhering to this plagiarism policy, we ensure that our journal remains a trusted source of innovative, high-quality, and original research in cloud computing and cyber security.
